Executive Director

Linda Marie Shaw joined the HACM team in November, 2015. She has over fifteen years of experience providing affordable housing and related services. She has lead public housing authorities in various states and served as advisor to several elected officials. Linda graduated from San Diego State University and received a Master of Education degree from the University of Utah. She has attended Harvard University’s Program for State and Local Government employees and has done doctoral work at Rivier University in New Hampshire. Linda is a Navy veteran, having served six and one half years in the military.

Ms. Shaw was selected by the HACM Board of Commissioners to serve as Executive Director because of her commitment to housing low to moderate income individuals and families, and her experience with development, finance, administration, organizational change, resident services and non-profit boards. Additionally, she brings with her an outstanding record of partnerships with financial institutions, HUD, community based organizations and other governing bodies.

Linda’s primary focus for the next few years will be to improve HACM’s response time in addressing HUD issues; bring stability to the agency and address resident needs; implement HACM’s mission and strategic planning goals; and to provide leadership and guidance that will result in positive outcomes.
